I realised it very late.. But managed to catch our chandamama when it was quite near.. I heard thet initially the moon was reddish yesterday and gradually as it moved away turned from orange to yellowish white again..
This immediately reminded me of a shot of the Billiard balls that I had clicked quite some time back..

A: Just posting it here as an anology.

B: The moon was supposed to be the brightest due to it's proximity..

To capture the brilliance, with some details on the surface.. here is my effort.. No crop.. centrally placed ( centred weighted metering) Manual focus.

C seems to be a very nice... But Billiard balls explanation is a one thing which I can not understand .. Sorry to ask such a dumb question

THe third seems to be rightly exposed rather than underexposed....infact the second is over .....U already know about that color cast u have got in the last ...

yes i agree to click moon we need to do it underexpose as at that time that is the only light source allowed.

Yes Jatin, you are right.. I purposely underexposed to get the details.. I have another shot with the Auto balance in the raw in which the colour cast has disappeared , bt just wanted to post this as it is to get the required C&C..
