Like most Macro photographers, I love to click the tiny moving insects. After many shots, I realised the trick to photographing moving insects, wasn't to focus on the actual insect, but rather where you know it is most likely to come next.
Take this photograph of an Ant below for example. At first, I was quickly following the ant around trying to focus and click a photo before it moved again.
This particlular ant was busy and moving around a lot. After viewing couple of pictures on my digital camera's LCD screen, I realised they were blured and I didn't even a single focused image. It was then, I sat quietly and watched the ant to see where it liked stop the most.
I then put my camera on a tripod and focused on that particular area where it was stopping the most. It wasn't long before the ant came to that area and stopped for a sec and I was able to use my remote release to fire off a few well focused images.
